Training
Early on we discovered that training was going to be one of our biggest hurdles here on the East coast, so we spent the time to get two in-house resources certified with the National Wildfire Suppression Association (NWSA) as instructors for all 100, 200 and select 300 level classes.
The NWSA holds a training Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) With the United States Forest Service USFS for training.
We are currently in the process of obtaining our own MOU so that Wolf Rock can be a designated NWCG training facility and meet or exceed the Wildland Fire Qualification System Guide (PMS 310-1).
We offer RT 130 and S130 classes throughout the year, so if you need a class please contact us!
Wolf Rock FIRE
In 2018 Wolf Rock Wildland Fire was formed and a decision was made to venture into Fire Contracting and we built our first type 6 engine. We are now staffing multiple engines under federal contracts New Hampshire and Montana.
